How to Inspect Delivered Material Before Use
Do not use material until the product, quantity, condition, and current instructions match the order and intended repair.
Product instructions take precedence.
Read and follow the current label, instructions, technical data sheet, and safety data sheet for the exact selected product.
What to do
- Compare the exact product name, manufacturer, package size, and quantity with the order.
- Photograph shipping damage and keep packaging without opening a leaking or unsafe container.
- Check lot or batch information and any use-by or storage information when present.
- Retrieve the current product instructions, technical data sheet, and safety data sheet.
- Use order support before use if material is missing, mislabeled, damaged, recalled, or outside stated storage conditions.
Practical notes
Keep delivery and lot records until the repair and any warranty period are resolved.
A normal-looking package does not replace reading its documents.
