Accessibility Statement

Patcher LLC is committed to providing digital experiences that are accessible and usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Last updated:

This commitment applies to the Patcher website and the digital services we provide through Patcher, including the Patcher iPhone application where applicable.

Our accessibility standard

Patcher uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continue to review, test, and improve our website, application, content, and user interfaces as our products and services evolve.

Unless and until a particular version of a Patcher digital property has been formally evaluated for conformance, Patcher does not represent that every page, feature, or component fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Measures we take

As part of our accessibility efforts, we seek to incorporate accessibility into the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our digital products. Our efforts may include:

  • providing meaningful alternative text for informative images;
  • treating decorative images appropriately for assistive technologies;
  • maintaining sufficient text and interface contrast;
  • supporting keyboard navigation where applicable;
  • providing visible keyboard focus states;
  • using semantic page structure and logical heading hierarchies;
  • providing accessible names and labels for controls and form fields;
  • communicating form errors and instructions in a manner that does not depend solely on color;
  • supporting browser zoom and text resizing without unnecessary loss of content or functionality;
  • avoiding the use of color alone to communicate essential information;
  • designing interactive controls with usable target sizes;
  • supporting screen readers and other commonly used assistive technologies where reasonably practicable;
  • adding captions, transcripts, or equivalent alternatives when audio or video content requires them;
  • reviewing new features and significant interface changes for accessibility considerations;
  • using automated accessibility tools together with manual review where appropriate; and
  • addressing reported accessibility barriers as they are identified.

Website and application accessibility

Patcher is designed for use across modern browsers, devices, operating systems, and assistive technologies.

Because assistive technologies, browsers, operating systems, devices, and software versions vary, individual experiences may differ. We encourage users who encounter an accessibility problem to report it so that we can investigate.

Some Patcher functionality is intentionally provided through the iPhone application rather than through the website. When a user encounters an accessibility barrier that prevents access to information or functionality, we will make reasonable efforts to identify an alternative way to provide access where practicable.

Third-party services and content

Patcher may use or link to services, platforms, content, or components provided by third parties.

We do not control every aspect of third-party technology. However, accessibility is a consideration when we select and integrate services, and we encourage our providers to offer accessible experiences.

If a third-party component creates an accessibility barrier while you are using Patcher, please report it to us. We will review the issue and, where reasonably practicable, work to provide an alternative method of access or address the issue with the applicable provider.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content or functionality may not yet provide an optimal experience with every assistive technology or configuration.

Accessibility issues can also emerge as technology, browsers, operating systems, assistive technologies, and Patcher itself change.

When we identify a material accessibility issue, we aim to evaluate the issue, determine an appropriate remediation, and prioritize fixes based on the impact of the barrier.

If you encounter an issue that prevents you from accessing Patcher, obtaining information, managing an order, or using an available service, please contact us so that we can try to provide assistance or an alternative means of access.

Accessibility feedback and assistance

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of Patcher.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Patcher website or application, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need assistance accessing information or functionality, please submit an accessibility request through the Support page and select Accessibility as the request category.

When contacting us, it is helpful to include:

  • the page, screen, or feature where you experienced the issue;
  • a description of the accessibility barrier;
  • the browser, device, or operating system you were using, if relevant;
  • the assistive technology you were using, if any; and
  • the best way for us to respond to you.

Please do not include passwords, authentication links, payment card information, or other sensitive credentials in an accessibility request.

We will make reasonable efforts to review accessibility requests promptly and to communicate with you regarding appropriate assistance or remediation.

Alternative access

If an accessibility barrier prevents you from obtaining information or using an available Patcher service, please contact Support.

Where reasonably practicable, we will work with you to provide the relevant information, assistance, or functionality through an accessible alternative while the underlying issue is being evaluated.

Assessment and continuous improvement

Patcher's accessibility efforts may include a combination of internal review, automated accessibility testing, manual testing, code review, usability review, and testing with assistive technologies.

Automated testing alone cannot identify every accessibility issue, so accessibility should also be considered through human review and feedback.

We periodically review our accessibility practices and may update this statement as Patcher, applicable standards, and our accessibility efforts evolve.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to digital products and services operated by Patcher LLC.

It does not make representations regarding independent websites, applications, or services that Patcher does not own or control.
